The module selector

The selector is the home screen. It groups the six modules by what they do and returns whenever a module is closed.

Module selector. Inverse analysis modules (1), analytical design modules (2), the iterative cross-sectional module (3) and the Help & Support menu (4).
  1. Inverse analysis modules take a flexural test result and back-calculate the tension law of the material. Pick ASTM C1609 & similar for an unnotched beam, EN14651 & similar for a notched beam, and TRC for a textile reinforced laminate.
  2. Analytical design modules take known material laws and compute the response of a rectangular beam in closed form. Hybrid Beam Analysis covers fibers plus rebar. FRP Rebar + Strengthening adds non-metallic bars and a bonded laminate.
  3. Iterative design module. Cross-Sectional Analysis solves any polygon section by iteration, with rebar layers, prestressing tendons, limit states and the P-M interaction diagram.
  4. Help & Support opens the same help menu that every module carries: this manual, the update check, keyboard shortcuts, the log folder, support email and the About box.

Click a module image to launch it. Only one module is open at a time. File → Close inside a module, or the window's close button, returns to the selector.
