HRC Designer User Manual

Version 4.3 · September 2026

HRC Designer is free desktop software for the analysis and design of fiber reinforced concrete (FRC), hybrid reinforced concrete (HRC), ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) and textile reinforced concrete (TRC) sections, with built-in inverse analysis of flexural test data. This manual walks through every module step by step.

Which version this manual describes

The available download is HRC Designer 4.3, released September 3, 2026. This manual also documents the revised EN 14651 measured-CMOD workflow listed as Unreleased in the release notes. Those sections are marked so they can be distinguished from the released software. For a first run, use the supplied ASTM C1609 tutorial project.

How to read this manual

  • Every module page follows the same order: what you need, the input tabs step by step, the result tabs, export, and a worked example.
  • Each numbered step in the text carries a red badge that matches the callout drawn on the screenshot beside it. Click any screenshot to zoom.
  • Inputs are listed in both unit systems. Use the SI units and US units tabs.
  • The search box at the top finds any input name, tab, dialog or error message.
